Poppy Mellor

Following her graduation from the University of Genoa, Italy in 1993 Poppy worked for an American Investment bank and then was headhunted to be Director of a Digital Television company.

In 2005 she retrained as Psychodynamic Therapist with the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships (now Tavistock Relationships) and obtained a post graduate diploma in Psychodynamic Marital and Couple therapy. This was followed by gaining an MSc in Psychosexual Therapy.  

She has worked for a number of years in the NHS as a psychosexual therapist, and now works in private practice in Covent Garden. Her commercial background has had a large impact on her work, having had direct contact with the life and stresses that can be caused by working in highly stressful situations.

Poppy is a Visiting Lecturer at Tavistock Relationships on the MSc in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy

PGDip in Psychodynamic Couple Therapy (TCCR)

MSc in Psychosexual Therapy (TCCR / UEL)

Post Qualification Certificate in Supervision (WPF)
